A Bible study, a history lesson, and a sober watch on what is actually happening in Jerusalem.
We bless the nation of Israel and we pray for her people, because the blessing of Abraham reaches us through her (Genesis 12:3, Romans 11). We watch the temple question because Scripture speaks of it — not to set dates, not to frighten anyone, and never to trust a man who exalts himself in it. All glory to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is Himself the temple's light and the only way to the Father.
Scanning temple preparations…
What Is Already Made — The Evidence
In Jerusalem's Old City, the Temple Institute (Machon HaMikdash) has spent decades crafting the vessels and garments of temple service to biblical specification — and they are not hidden. They are on display, and they are reported ready for use.
Golden Menorah — A seven-branched lampstand of gold, made to the Exodus 25 pattern, displayed publicly overlooking the Western Wall plaza.
Table of Showbread — Gold-overlaid table with the twelve loaves, crafted to biblical specification.
Golden Altar of Incense — Built with the incense blend researched from the Torah and Talmudic sources.
Bronze Laver — The washing basin where priests sanctify hands and feet before service.
Priestly Garments — White linen tunics, sashes and turbans woven for ordinary priests.
High Priest's Breastplate & Ephod — Gold settings with twelve engraved stones for the twelve tribes, plus the blue ephod.
Silver Trumpets & Service Tools — Trumpets, shovels, basins, forks and other vessels of service — over seventy items reported complete.
Priestly & Levitical Training — Registries of kohanim, service-training courses, and Levitical choirs rehearsing the temple psalms.
Honest note: a serving high priest has not been installed — no temple stands to serve in. What organizations have done is train and register kohanim and prepare candidates. Anyone telling you a high priest is already ministering is going beyond the record.
The Cyrus Coin
Israeli groups minted a commemorative half-shekel coin showing Cyrus the Great beside President Donald Trump, struck after the United States recognised Jerusalem as Israel's capital and moved its embassy there. The comparison they intended is plain: Cyrus, a gentile king, was named by Isaiah and issued the decree that let the temple be rebuilt.
“Thus says the LORD to His anointed, to Cyrus… he shall say of Jerusalem, She shall be built.” — Isaiah 45:1, 44:28
The coin is real and it is a commemorative medal minted by a private organization — it is not currency, not an act of the Israeli government, and not a building permit. Treat it as what it is: a public sign of how seriously some in Israel view this moment.
The image above is an illustration of such a commemorative coin, not a photograph of the mint issue.
The Cyrus Coin — A Decree For Jerusalem
Israeli groups connected to Temple Mount preparations have struck commemorative half-shekel style coins that place President Donald Trump beside Cyrus the Great of Persia — the Gentile king God named centuries in advance and used to send the Jewish people home to rebuild.
“Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him… I will go before thee.”
Isaiah 45:1-2
“Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem.”
Ezra 1:2 · see also 2 Chronicles 36:23
Why Israelis made the comparison
Cyrus was a foreign ruler, not a Jew and not a prophet, and God still used his decree to restore Jerusalem and set the temple rebuilding in motion. When a modern American president formally recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital and moved the U.S. embassy there, Israelis who study those passages saw the same pattern — a Gentile leader making a decree that favours Jerusalem. Hence the coin.
Bless America · Bless Israel
“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” — Genesis 12:3 We pray for America and we pray for Israel: that both nations would be great in the only way that lasts — in righteousness, in mercy, and in the fear of the LORD. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD” (Psalm 33:12).
וַאֲבָרְכָה מְבָרְכֶיךָ — בְּרֵאשִׁית י״ב:ג׳
Honest note: these coins are privately minted commemoratives sold by Temple Mount organizations, not legal tender and not scripture. No man alive is the Messiah, no politician is a fulfilment of prophecy, and no date is being set here — “of that day and hour knoweth no man” (Matthew 24:36). We report the parallel because it is real and because many in Israel are talking about it. All glory belongs to God alone.
Blood Moons On The Feast Days — “The Moon Into Blood”
A total lunar eclipse turns the moon copper-red, because the only light reaching it is bent through the rim of the earth's atmosphere — every sunrise and sunset on earth at once. Israel's calendar is lunar, so a total eclipse can only land on a full moon, and only two feasts sit on a full moon: Passover in the first month and Sukkot in the seventh. Four in a row on those days, with no partial eclipse between, is called a tetrad — and it has happened four times in the history below.
“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.” — Genesis 1:14
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.” — Joel 2:31
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come.” — Acts 2:20
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars.” — Luke 21:25
“Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.” — Psalm 81:3
He Made The Moon And He Gave The Feasts — Why This Is Not Coincidence
The festivals were not invented by men and later found to match the sky. God gave them to the Jewish people at Sinai, dated by the moon He had already hung on the fourth day — thousands of years before anyone could calculate an eclipse. The sign and the calendar come from the same hand.
God set the clock before He set the feasts
On the fourth day the lights were placed 'for signs, and for seasons' — mo'edim, appointed times (Genesis 1:14). Then in Leviticus 23 He named those appointed times: Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Shavuot, Trumpets, Atonement, Sukkot. The calendar came first; the festivals were hung on it.
He gave the festivals to the Jewish people, and no one else
'These are the feasts of the LORD' — His, not Israel's invention (Leviticus 23:2). They are dated by the moon He made: the month begins at the new moon, Passover and Sukkot fall on the fifteenth, at the full moon. A nation cannot choose a calendar that makes eclipses land on its holy days. Only the One who made the moon could.
A total eclipse can only fall on a full moon
That is astronomy, not interpretation. And of the seven feasts, only two sit on a full moon — Passover in the first month and Sukkot in the seventh. So when the moon turns to blood on an appointed day, it lands on the exact two days God fixed to the full moon. The sign and the calendar were made by the same hand.
Written in a language Israel alone reads
The nations keep a solar calendar, so a sign on the moon means nothing on their clock. Israel keeps a lunar calendar, so the same sign lands on a named feast. The message is addressed — like a letter with a name on it.
'The moon shall be turned into blood'
Joel said it, Peter preached it at Pentecost, and Jesus said there would be signs in the sun and in the moon (Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20, Luke 21:25). A total lunar eclipse is the only thing in nature that does exactly what the words describe — and men learned to predict it only in the last few centuries, long after the words were written.

The most-watched tetrad in living memory. No single defining event is attached to it by the historical record — which is exactly why these are treated as signs to watch, not as a forecast of a dated event.
What Happened On Each Moon — Oldest First
Every one of the sixteen feast-day blood moons is listed below with what was actually happening in Israel's story at that moment. Each entry carries a tag showing how close the event really was — same day, within days, same month, or the same season — so nothing is stretched to fit.
1493 – 1494
The Expulsion Tetrad
The Alhambra Decree was signed 31 March 1492 and the last Jews were driven out of Spain by 31 July 1492 — roughly 200,000 people, the end of the greatest Jewish community in Europe. The four blood moons fall in the two years immediately after, while the exiles were scattering across North Africa, the Ottoman lands and the New World.
April 2, 1493
PassoverSame season
The first Passover of the exile generation with Spain closed behind them. Columbus had returned from the first voyage weeks earlier (4 March 1493), opening the lands where many conversos and their descendants would resettle.
September 25, 1493
SukkotSame day
Columbus sailed from Cádiz on his second voyage — 17 ships, the beginning of permanent settlement in the Americas. Jewish and converso navigators, interpreters and financiers were part of that enterprise.
March 22, 1494
PassoverSame year
Spain and Portugal divided the new world between them at Tordesillas (June 1494), setting which colonies the Inquisition would reach — and which refuge would prove temporary for Jews who fled there.
September 15, 1494
SukkotSame season
The great resettlement year: Sultan Bayezid II's welcome had drawn tens of thousands of Sephardic exiles into Ottoman Salonica, Constantinople and Izmir, communities that carried Sephardic Judaism for the next four centuries.
1949 – 1950
The Statehood Tetrad
Israel declared independence 14 May 1948 and immediately fought five invading armies. The four blood moons land across the armistices, UN admission, and the mass ingathering — the years the newborn state was actually secured.
April 13, 1949
PassoverWithin days
Israel's first Passover as a recognized nation. The Jordanian armistice was signed 3 April 1949 and the Egyptian and Lebanese armistices weeks earlier — the War of Independence was being formally closed in Israel's favor that very month.
October 7, 1949
SukkotSame year
The first Sukkot of a sovereign Israel that had been admitted to the United Nations on 11 May 1949 as its 59th member. Operation Magic Carpet was airlifting nearly 50,000 Yemenite Jews home during these very months.
April 2, 1950
PassoverSame season
Jerusalem had been declared Israel's capital in December 1949, and Operation Ezra and Nehemiah was beginning to bring 120,000 Iraqi Jews out — the largest exodus from an Arab land since Moses.
September 26, 1950
SukkotSame year
The Law of Return was passed 5 July 1950 — any Jew anywhere on earth granted the right to come home. The legal doorway of the ingathering, opened the same year as the closing moon.
1967 – 1968
The Jerusalem Tetrad
The Six-Day War, 5–10 June 1967. Egypt, Syria and Jordan attacked, with Iraqi, Saudi, Lebanese, Algerian, Kuwaiti and Sudanese forces committed alongside them. In six days Israel took Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, Judea, Samaria, Gaza, Sinai and the Golan. The tetrad brackets that war.
April 24, 1967
PassoverWeeks before
Six weeks before the war. Syrian shelling from the Golan and the 7 April 1967 air battle over Damascus had already begun the slide; Egypt would close the Straits of Tiran and mass in Sinai in May.
October 18, 1967
SukkotSame day
The first Sukkot in 1,897 years with the Temple Mount and the Western Wall in Jewish hands. Jews had been barred from the Old City entirely from 1948 to 1967; that autumn they kept the feast at the Wall again.
April 13, 1968
PassoverSame day
The first Passover pilgrimage to the restored Western Wall — hundreds of thousands walked up to the plaza newly cleared for them. UN Resolution 242, the framework every later peace deal is built on, had passed 22 November 1967.
October 6, 1968
SukkotSame season
The War of Attrition along the Suez Canal opened in earnest that autumn — the land had been taken, and the long fight to hold it began.
2014 – 2015
The Shemitah Tetrad
Four total eclipses across a Sabbath-year cycle, closing with the 28 September 2015 supermoon eclipse over Jerusalem. No war of independence in this set — instead diplomacy, the Temple Mount, and Iran.
April 15, 2014
PassoverSame month
The US-brokered Kerry peace talks collapsed that same month, and Hamas–Fatah unity followed — the chain that led into Operation Protective Edge in Gaza that July and August.
October 8, 2014
SukkotSame month
Sweden recognized a Palestinian state on 30 October 2014, Britain's parliament voted for recognition on 13 October, and the Temple Mount was closed entirely on 30 October for the first time since 1967 amid escalating clashes.
April 4, 2015
PassoverWithin days
The Iran nuclear framework agreement was announced on 2 April 2015 — two days before the moon — over Israel's open objection, the deal Jerusalem called an existential threat.
September 28, 2015
SukkotSame day
A supermoon total eclipse visible over Jerusalem. The Palestinian flag was raised at UN headquarters on 30 September 2015, Netanyahu addressed the UN on 1 October, and the Temple Mount stabbing wave began that same week.
Read this as a record, not a formula. Eclipse dates are NASA's, the feasts are Leviticus 23's, and the history is ordinary documented history you can verify. Some entries land on the very day; others are the same season, and we say so rather than rounding them closer. Nobody here is predicting the next one.
The Math — Four Blood Moons, Four Exact Holy Days
Picture a coastline of sand — dunes and mountains of it, every grain a night of history. Now reach in blindfolded and pull out four grains, and every one of them is a feast God named to Moses three and a half thousand years ago. That is the order of thing being asked to be a coincidence.
1
How many full moons a year?
About 12.4. A total lunar eclipse can only happen on a full moon — so every eclipse is already drawing from that small pool of nights.
2
How many of those are feast days?
Two. Only Passover (15 Nisan) and Sukkot (15 Tishrei) sit on a full moon. So any one blood moon has roughly a 2-in-12.4 chance of landing on an appointed day — about 1 in 6.
3
Now do it four times in a row
1 in 6, four times over, is about 1 in 1,300 — and that is before requiring them to be four consecutive total eclipses with no partial eclipse breaking the run, which is rarer still.
4
Then do it four separate times in history
1493, 1949, 1967, 2014 — and each one beside a hinge in Israel's story: the expulsion, statehood, Jerusalem restored. Stack those odds on each other and the number stops being something you can feel.
One tetrad on the feast days, by chance alone
≈ 1 in 1,300
And it has happened four times — every time beside a turning point for Israel.
Said Honestly
A fair critic answers that eclipses run in predictable cycles, so feast-day clusters are bound to recur eventually, and that Israel's history has enough hinge years for something to line up. That is a real argument and we print it. But cycles explain how the moon can do it; they do not explain why the calendar it lands on is the one God handed to Israel, and why the run keeps arriving beside the land, the city and the mount. Weigh it yourself — the dates above are NASA's and the feasts are Leviticus 23's.
Why We Stand With Israel
“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” — Genesis 12:3
The sign is written on Israel's calendar, not ours — which tells us whose covenant is being kept. That is why America's friendship with Israel is not merely politics to us: it is agreement with the promise God made to Abraham, and it comes with a blessing attached. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the salvation of Jew and Gentile alike (Psalm 122:6, Romans 1:16).
The Fig Tree — From Withered To Shooting Again
Jesus cursed a fig tree that carried leaves and no fruit, and it withered. Days later, on the Mount of Olives, He pointed back at that same tree and said: when you see the branch turn tender and put out leaves again, you know summer is near. The nation withered in AD 70. It leafed out again in 1948, and Jerusalem came back into Jewish hands in 1967. All glory to the Most High — the sign is His doing, not man's.
AD 70
The Tree Withers
Rome burns the Second Temple and scatters the nation. For nearly nineteen centuries there is no Israel on any map — a fig tree with no leaves at all.
1897–1917
Sap In The Branch
The return movement begins and the Balfour Declaration names a homeland. Underground, unseen, the root is alive.
May 14, 1948
The Shoot — Israel Reborn
Israel declares statehood and is recognized the same day. A nation born in a day, as Isaiah 66:8 asked. (Often misremembered as 1943 — the declaration is 1948; 1947 was the UN partition vote.)
1948–49
Five Armies, One Day Old
Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon invade the day after independence. Israel survives and holds.
June 5–10, 1967
Six Days — Jerusalem Restored
Egypt, Syria and Jordan attack with Iraqi, Saudi, Lebanese and other Arab forces committed alongside them. In six days Israel takes Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, Judea, Samaria, Gaza, Sinai and the Golan. The Old City is in Jewish hands for the first time since AD 70.

Leaves Filling Out
Vessels prepared, priesthood trained, red heifers, the Sanhedrin re-formed, feast-day blood moons in 1949, 1967 and 2014, and the peace-deal diplomacy that prophecy watchers read as the groundwork for a covenant.
In His Own Words
Matthew 21:19
“And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.”
The barren fig tree — a nation with leaves but no fruit, about to be scattered.
Matthew 24:32-34
“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.”
The same tree — told to sprout again. The shoot is the sign, not the summer itself.
Luke 21:24
“And Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”
Until — a word with an end in it. 1967 is why watchmen circle that date.
Where That Leaves Us — Inside The Season, Not On A Date
If 1948 and 1967 are the tender branch, then everyone alive since is living inside the season Jesus described — past the sprouting, before the harvest. That is the honest reading: we are in it. Men have tried to turn “this generation” into a countdown of forty, seventy or eighty years and every one of those dates has come and gone with Christ's own words standing over them — “of that day and hour knoweth no man” (Matthew 24:36). So we say the season, never the day.
What a watchman does with that: stay ready, keep oil in the lamp, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, help your neighbor, and let no man set you a date.
The Coming Tetrad — 2032 – 2033
After the 2014–2015 tetrad, the next four total lunar eclipses to land in a row on the feast days fall in 2032 and 2033 — Passover, Sukkot, Passover, Sukkot. The same pattern as 1493, 1949, 1967 and 2014, on the same two appointed days.

The Road From Here To 2033 — Matches And Gaps
2026 — A blood moon on Purim (3 March) — the feast where a decree of annihilation against the Jewish people was overturned. Then in August 2027 the sun itself is darkened right across Egypt and Arabia. Joel names the sun as well as the moon.
2028 – 2029 — Three blood moons — December 2028, June 2029, December 2029. None on a feast day. Listed plainly, because a watchman who calls everything a sign is not watching, he is guessing.
2030 – 2031 — No total lunar eclipse lands on a feast day in these two years. A quiet stretch is part of the record too.
2032 – 2033 — The tetrad — Passover, Sukkot, Passover, Sukkot. Four blood moons on the appointed days, the first such run since 2014–2015.
Why many are watching the 2030s — and why we still set no date
• The 2032–2033 tetrad puts four blood moons on Passover and Sukkot inside two years, the tightest feast-day cluster of this century.
• 2033 is widely reckoned as two thousand years from the crucifixion and resurrection — and Peter reminds us that with the Lord a thousand years is as a day (2 Peter 3:8). A reckoning, not a countdown.
• The spring feasts — Passover, Firstfruits, Pentecost — were fulfilled to the day at His first coming. Many therefore watch the autumn feasts, Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles, for the second. The 2032 and 2033 blood moons fall on Sukkot twice.
• Israel's own temple preparations have moved further in this generation than in the previous nineteen centuries put together.
And here we stop. 'But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only' (Matthew 24:36). 'It is not for you to know the times or the seasons' (Acts 1:7). We name no year, no day and no hour — not 2033, not any other. Anyone who does is adding to the Book. The command is not to calculate; it is to watch, to be ready, and to be found doing His work when He comes (Matthew 24:42-46).
Hand In Hand With The Third Temple
• Every tetrad in the list above falls beside something that moved Israel toward the land, the city, or the mountain: the expulsion from Spain and the scattering (1493), statehood (1949), Jerusalem and the Temple Mount back in Jewish hands (1967). The thread running through them is the same thread this page follows — land, city, mount, temple.
• Scripture ties the last days to a temple standing and a covenant broken in the middle of a week (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, 2 Thessalonians 2:4). Whatever else is argued, that requires a place of sacrifice to exist. That is why the readiness indicators on this page — the vessels, the priesthood, the altar, the red heifers — are watched at all.
• So the two halves of this page are one watch, not two. The blood moons are the sign on the calendar; the temple preparations are the sign on the ground. Neither one sets a date. Together they say the same thing: stay awake.
• Held honestly: correlation is not causation, and an eclipse visible from Asia is not a message to Asia. We line the record up, we let the reader see the gaps as well as the matches, and we leave the timing where Jesus left it.

Why This Matters To Israel
• Israel keeps a lunar calendar — the months begin at the new moon and the feasts are fixed to it. The nations largely keep a solar calendar. So a sign written on the moon is a sign written on Israel's own clock.
• The word translated 'seasons' in Genesis 1:14 is mo'edim — appointed times, the same word used for the feasts of Leviticus 23. The lights were given as markers for those appointments.
• A total lunar eclipse requires a full moon, and only two feasts sit on a full moon: Passover in the first month and Sukkot in the seventh. That is why feast-day blood moons cluster on exactly those two days.
• Held honestly: eclipses are predictable centuries ahead, they are visible only from part of the earth, and Scripture sets no date. These are signs to watch and pray over — not a timetable, and never a reason to fear.
Eclipse dates, types and visibility from NASA's eclipse catalogue; Hebrew dates are the civil date on which that feast day fell. Historical events are placed alongside the astronomy as documented history — never as cause, and never as prediction. “But of that day and hour knoweth no man” (Matthew 24:36). We watch, we pray, and we set no dates.
The Suffering Servant — Hebrew And English
These are not New Testament verses. They stand in the Hebrew Scriptures, written centuries before the cross, read in synagogues long before Calvary. Hebrew on the right as it is written, English beneath it. Read them and judge for yourself who is being described.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Psalm 22 · תְּהִלִּים כ״ב
This is the Psalm of the crucifixion — the words Jesus cried from the cross are its opening line, and it describes pierced hands and feet and soldiers casting lots for clothing a thousand years before crucifixion was invented as a means of execution. (Psalm 23 is the shepherd Psalm, quoted below — the comfort that follows the suffering.)
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want… Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.
The same Shepherd who is smitten in Isaiah 53 and forsaken in Psalm 22 is the one who leads beside still waters in Psalm 23. The wounds came first, then the comfort — and both were promised in Israel's own Scriptures. Hebrew text follows the Masoretic tradition; English is the Authorized (King James) Version.

The Tent Of Meeting — A Copy Of Heaven
“See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” — Exodus 25:40 / Hebrews 8:5
God gave Moses no room for opinion. Every cubit, every curtain, every loop and clasp was dictated, because the tent was a shadow of the true sanctuary in heaven. Moses was not designing — he was copying.
Inside stood the golden lampstand, the table of showbread, and the altar of incense. Behind the veil sat the ark of the covenant with the mercy seat, where God met Israel. Outside stood the bronze altar and the bronze laver where the priests washed before they served.
The high priest entered the Most Holy Place once a year, on the Day of Atonement, with blood. One man, one day, one way in.

Solomon's Temple — The Tent Becomes Stone
“The glory of the LORD filled the house of God.” — 2 Chronicles 5:14
David gathered the materials; Solomon built the house on Mount Moriah, the same mountain where Abraham was told to offer Isaac. Cedar from Lebanon, cut stone, gold overlay, and the two great bronze pillars Jachin and Boaz at the door.
It kept the tabernacle's pattern — courtyard, holy place, Most Holy Place — because the pattern was heaven's, not Moses'. Only now it stood permanent, in Jerusalem.
Babylon burned it in 586 BC. Nebuchadnezzar carried the vessels away and the nation went into exile, exactly as the prophets had warned.
The Second Temple · 516 BC – 70 AD
Rebuilt By Cyrus' Decree — Torn Down Stone By Stone
“Not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.” — Matthew 24:2
Cyrus of Persia — named by Isaiah generations before he was born — decreed the return and the rebuilding (Isaiah 44:28, Ezra 1:1-2). Zerubbabel laid it, Herod enlarged it into the vast platform whose western retaining wall people pray at to this day.
That wall, the Western Wall, is the surviving retaining wall of the platform — not the temple itself. The mountain is Moriah, the Temple Mount. (Mount Hermon is far to the north, on the Syrian-Lebanese border — a different mountain entirely.)
Around 30 AD Jesus stood there and said not one stone would be left on another. In 70 AD Rome burned it; the melted gold ran between the stones, and the soldiers pried the stones apart to get it. The prophecy was fulfilled to the letter, within one generation.
And at the cross, the veil of that temple was torn from the top to the bottom (Matthew 27:51) — torn downward, by God, not upward by men. The way into the Most Holy Place was opened by the blood of Jesus. No priest, no curtain, no once-a-year. Hebrews 10:19-20.
The Third Temple · Ezekiel 40-48
The House Ezekiel Was Shown — Measured, Not Imagined
“Son of man, look with your eyes, hear with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I show you.” — Ezekiel 40:4
In exile, Ezekiel was carried in vision to a very high mountain and shown a house with a man measuring it with a reed. Chapters 40 through 48 are not poetry — they are dimensions, gates, chambers, and an order of service.
Scripture also warns of a temple in the last days connected to a man of lawlessness who exalts himself in it (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4; Daniel 9:27). That is why a rebuilt temple is watched soberly: it is prophetic ground, and a counterfeit walks that ground before the King returns.
Israel will one day look on Him whom they pierced and mourn, and a fountain of cleansing will be opened for them (Zechariah 12:10, 13:1). Romans 11 says all Israel shall be saved. That is what we pray toward — not a date, a Person.
Images are artists' reconstructions for teaching, not photographs of the original structures.
Ezekiel's Dimensions — Chapters 40-43
Ezekiel was given a house with a man measuring it in front of him. The measurements are in the long cubit — a cubit and a handbreadth, about 53 cm / 20.6 inches (Ezekiel 40:5). Metres below are converted for reference only; the cubits are what Scripture states.

The outer court alone is 500 cubits square — roughly 262 metres a side, larger than the present Temple Mount platform. That is one reason believers differ over whether Ezekiel's house is a future literal building, the millennial temple, or a vision carrying spiritual instruction. Read the chapters yourself and hold your conclusions humbly.
The Blessing Of Abraham — Twelve And The One
We stand with Israel because of a promise older than any nation now on earth. The blessing runs Abraham → Isaac → Jacob → Israel → the twelve tribes, and through that root the nations are grafted in. Romans 11:17-18 says it plainly: we are the branch, they are the root, and the branch has nothing to boast about.
1Abraham — “I will bless them that bless thee… and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:2-3. The blessing on the nations begins here.
2Isaac — The son of promise, offered on Mount Moriah — the same mountain where the temple would later stand. Genesis 22:2, 2 Chronicles 3:1.
3Jacob → Israel — Wrestled and renamed. From his twelve sons come the twelve tribes of the nation. Genesis 32:28, 49:28.
4Twelve Tribes — Their names are engraved on the high priest's breastplate, and on the twelve gates of the New Jerusalem. Exodus 28:21, Revelation 21:12.
5Twelve Apostles — Their names are on the twelve foundations of the city — the same pattern, one covenant later. Revelation 21:14.
6Jesus, the Thirteenth — Not one of the twelve — the One they surround. The chief cornerstone the builders rejected, the Lamb who is the temple's light. Ephesians 2:20, Revelation 21:22-23.
Joseph's Dream And The Stars
Joseph dreamed of the sun, the moon and eleven stars bowing — his father read it instantly as the family of Israel (Genesis 37:9-10). Scripture does use the heavens as a witness: “The heavens declare the glory of God” (Psalm 19:1), and Revelation 12:1 shows a woman crowned with twelve stars.
Some point out that a thirteenth constellation, Ophiuchus, sits on the zodiac band and see a picture of the One who stands among the twelve and crushes the serpent. Hold that as illustration, not doctrine — Scripture forbids reading the stars for guidance (Deuteronomy 4:19, Isaiah 47:13). The heavens point to Him; they never replace Him.
Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee."
Psalm 122:6
"And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee."
Genesis 12:3
"Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."
Psalm 121:4
"For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest."
Isaiah 62:1
"The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: the LORD make his face shine upon thee, and give thee peace."
Numbers 6:24-26
A Prayer
Father, we lift up the nation of Israel and every soul within her borders. Shield the children, the elderly, the soldier and the stranger. Guide the hands of those who defend the innocent, comfort every grieving family on every side, and bring a true and lasting peace to Jerusalem. Bless America, and make us a people of peace. In Jesus' name, amen.
