Test Every Light
"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light."
— 2 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV)
Not every bright light or wonder in the sky comes from God. Scripture warns that the deceiver can look beautiful and glorious. Don't be afraid, and don't be fooled. Test what you see against God's Word.
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God." — 1 John 4:1

Scanning the skies…

Object seen visually AND tracked on radar. Considered high-credibility evidence.
Proximity Event
Object observed within 500 feet. May involve physical effects or vehicle interference.
Contact Event
Claims of communication or interaction. Extremely rare and unverified.
The modern UFO era began in 1947 when pilot Kenneth Arnold saw nine crescent-shaped objects near Mt. Rainier, coining the term 'flying saucer.' The 1947 Roswell incident became the most famous UFO event in history. Project Blue Book (1952-1969) investigated 12,618 sightings for the U.S. Air Force. The 2021 Pentagon UAP report confirmed 143 sightings remain unexplained. The 2023 Mexican Congress hearing featured alleged 'non-human' remains. NUFORC has collected 200,000+ reports since 1974.
Reported UFOs vary widely in speed — from hovering stationary to estimated 5,000+ mph. Witnesses describe sudden direction changes, instant acceleration, and silent flight — characteristics that defy known aerodynamics. The U.S. government now uses the term UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) and investigates through the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).
Before
- • Keep a camera or phone charged and ready — sightings are brief and unpredictable.
- • Note the date, time, location, and direction you're facing if you see something unusual.
- • Download a star/planet identification app to rule out celestial objects (Venus, Jupiter, ISS).
- • Know that most UFO reports are eventually explained as aircraft, drones, balloons, or natural phenomena.
During
- • Stay calm and observe. Do NOT chase or approach unknown objects.
- • Record video if safe — include landmarks for scale and direction reference.
- • Note: shape, color, size, altitude, speed, sound, and any lights or emissions.
- • Count witnesses around you — multiple independent witnesses add credibility.
- • Do not shine lasers or flashlights at unknown objects.
After
- • Report your sighting to NUFORC (nuforc.org) or MUFON (mufon.com) with details.
- • Save any photos/video with original metadata intact.
- • Compare with flight tracking apps (ADS-B) to rule out known aircraft.
- • Be honest about what you saw — don't exaggerate or speculate about origin.
