A native of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Jorge Otero Barreto volunteered for five tours in Vietnam between 1961 and 1970 — first as an advisor training Vietnamese troops, then leading combat missions with the 82nd Airborne and 101st Airborne Divisions. He fought in roughly 200 combat missions and earned 38 military decorations — making him one of the most decorated U.S. soldiers of the entire Vietnam War. They called him "The Puerto Rican Rambo."
He stood waist-deep in muddy rice paddies with an M60, carried his wounded men out under fire, and went back again and again and again. Five tours. He did not have to go back. He went back because his brothers were still out there. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." — John 15:13, KJV

Navajo (Diné)

Choctaw (Chahta)

Hopi (Hopituh Shi-nu-mu)
The Hopi are 'The Peaceful People,' keepers of the oldest continuously inhabited villages in North America (Old Oraibi, since 1100 AD). The eagle feather carries prayers to the Creator. Their prophecies warn of a coming purification.
